The Butterfly
I cannot count the times
That I wish that I would die
From all the horrors that Ive had
And times that made me cry.
I panicked and I struggled
Just barely making it through
It seemed that everything happened to me
But no, that isnt true.
For my effort will be rewarded
In the time to come,
And my struggles will make me stronger-
Happiness will be the sum.
Just look at a caterpillar, for instance,
It makes its own cocoon.
It hibernates for the longest time
And then a butterfly will start to bloom.
But the hatching isnt easy
And neither is life I cry;
But without its hardships of getting out
It could never be able to fly.
So the next time you consider giving up
Just think of a butterfly for a while,
And after the struggles are fought and won
Youll be stronger and youll smile!

And the way you act so weird.

I hate it when you're far, not near.

Please dont judge me by my face,
by my religion or my race.

or how I look or do my hair.

Behind my clothes the secrets lie,

The lonely little girl,
that lives inside of me.
Please listen carefully to her,
she'll show that she is insecure
Please try to be a friend to her,

That if you just look deep enough,
